Axios reports Democrats campaigning against their own party. In Michigan, a former Democratic Party chairman urged voters to leave the Senate race blank. Imagine having a political brand so toxic that your own people would rather abandon the ticket than defend it.

Meanwhile, Nate Silver admits the polls could be wrong again, particularly in the Midwest. Other forecasters are suddenly hedging predictions they spent months treating like divine revelation.

Where the fuck was all this humility when these arrogant jackasses were writing the Republican Party’s obituary?

Florida’s reported Democratic early-vote advantage shrank dramatically. Texas estimates showed Republicans participating in substantial numbers. The supposedly demoralized Republican electorate apparently forgot to surrender.

These pompous assholes have spent months confusing their political fantasies with electoral reality.
